The recycling of cans involves producing alloy aluminum ingots and remelting to produce substandard aluminum ingots, which can be used in industries such as ferroalloys and steelmaking. For the production of substandard aluminum ingots by remelting method, under strict operation (whether reverberatory furnace or crucible furnace is used), the maximum direct yield of aluminum can only reach about 83%, including the inferior aluminum recovered from aluminum slag through refining.

Recycling process of waste cans

The collected waste cans are first subjected to simple flattening and compression treatment, followed by sorting and washing. The flattened and packaged cans are then crushed and shredded using a metal shredder or can crusher, and the materials are accurately sorted and removed by a sorting machine to obtain clean waste aluminum particles, which are then concentrated and "melted". At high temperatures, they become liquid aluminum and then transformed into large aluminum ingots. Finally, the cans will be melted into recycled aluminum ingots.
